Natural Beauty: Rosehip Oil
The Healing Power of Plants: Rosehip Seed Oil

Researchers in South America were the first to discover the skin enhancing benefits of a natural oil expressed from the seeds of a wild rose that grows in the mountains of southern Chile, Rosa mosqueta. Its beauty is short-lived: the pink and white flowers last a single day, then the petals fall away to be replaced by a fleshy, seed-bearing fruit: the rose hips. The hips are very high in Vitamin C, but it's the red rosehip oil that is being increasingly appreciated for its success in treating aged skin, wrinkles, scars, burns and sunburns, and pressure sores.

The therapeutic value of Rosa mosqueta was known in antiquity. The Roman naturalist and historian Pliny (77A.D.) was the first to describe the physical properties of the leaves (green apple-cinnamon fragrance.) The fruit has an extremely high Vitamin C content and was widely used by native peoples throughout the Americas to prevent scurvy. The rose hips are still used to make delicious tart jams and teas that are high in Vitamin C.

Skin Care Cosmetics. Mineral Makeup: What is it?
Less is Younger ~~ Keep it Natural

Skin that is losing firmness needs less makeup, not more. Makeup tends to slide into and accentuate even tiny facial furrows. Mineral powders applied with a light hand reflect light and minimize wrinkles and sagging.

Prepare to change your concept of make up: Mineral makeup is here.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could find makeup that would actually enhance the health of your skin? Well, your search is over-- mineral makeup is here. Mineral cosmetics are the healthiest, most natural makeup you can put on your skin. Minerals are the building blocks of rocks. Older than dirt, these earthy substances are transformed by science into makeup that promotes a younger you.

I just received my first order, the foundation powder and lip plump. I love them both! They were very nicely packed and I love all the extra samples...so will my daughter! You have great products at a great price. I have tried other foundations such as Bare Escentuals and they are too sparkly and much too expensive. Keep up the great work and I will order again and again. Thanks! Alicia Dearmin. Okanogan, WA

Wellness: #1 FLU PREVENTION
I'm gonna wash that flu right offa my hands.....

#1: WASH YOUR HANDS! It seems too simple, but viruses are most often hand delivered. Wash your hands frequently during the day, but especially before meals, after contact with other people, and after touching other people's stuff. Some contact is unavoidable - think doorknobs and money - but you can minimize the consequences. Antibacterial soap is not necessary, washing thoroughly is. It is equally important to dry them completely. Hands that are air-dried retain a greater percentage of germs than those that are wiped dry. Use disposable paper towels to prevent carry over.

#2: KEEP YOUR HANDS AWAY FROM YOUR FACE. The nose and mouth are the points of entry for viruses so for heaven's sake, don't put the germs exactly where they want to be in the first place. Keep fingers, pencils, and other items out of your mouth and away from your nose. Avoid rubbing your eyes. Use disposable paper cups and tissues that can be easily discarded after one use. Don't share eating utensils, straws, or toothbrushes.

Parents: Teach your children healthy habits from a young age.
