Use for overall glow or as a natural blush.

  • The Abbey's bronzers work for all skin tones.
  • Bronzers can be used to provide a light sun-kissed look, provide an overall glow of having been out in the sun (without incurring potential UV damage), or to transition between seasons to adjust your foundation to match suntanned skin.
  • They are not sparkly for natural looking color.
  • Subtle color makes these versatile for all seasons.
  • Choose matte or a soft sheen application. Both provide a natural appearance.
  • They will not make you look orange or dirty when dusted lightly over the skin.

You know that sunlight is aging and damages your skin. You may also know that tanning beds are not safe alternatives. Spray tans are expensive. The answer: bronzers. Choose and apply a bronzer wisely. They are meant to give you a healthy glow, avoiding the orange tones that often result from bottle tans.

The road to the sun-kissed look is a sheer bronzer applied lightly. Bronzers add a healthy hue in every season, but are particularly helpful to even out skin tones during warm weather seasons when more time is spent outdoors.

Hats, sunglasses, and attentive sunscreen application often leave your face and upper neck a lighter hue than the rest of you. Solve this contrast by dusting the bronzer over your face and upper neck, feathering it into the deeper toned areas, to diminish the contrast between your face and your tanned arms and shoulders.

For a natural summer glow, dust a light application of bronzer where sunlight would naturally hit your skin: along the length of your nose, your chin, cheekbones, and forehead.

BRUSH RECOMMENDATION: Best applied with a large soft brush for overall glow. Use a flat bronzer brush for contours or blush, or a blush brush for sun-kissed glow.

Always use bronzer wisely.

  • To achieve a subtle sun-kissed glow, use a fluffy brush.
  • Tap off excess powder.
  • For a hint of shading: Use a fluffy brush to skim bronzer over your cheekbones and jawline.
  • For a sunless tan glow: Skim the brush lightly over your face and neck. If your hair is short or pulled into a ponytail, dust lightly behind your ears. Without adding any additional color to the brush, dust again to areas where sunlight would highlight your face: top of your nose, chin, forehead, and cheekbones.
  • To match a lighter complexion to a tanned body: Very lightly dust bronzer over face and neck, building up shading until it matches the rest of your sun exposed skin.
  • As a blush: Bronzers make a wonderful natural blush. Use a flat top bronzer brush. Use alone or highlight with a sheer shade of pink on the apples of your cheeks for an extra blush of color.
