Well, we're ahead of the curve on this one as this is our goal every day. The idea was presented as wearing makeup without looking like you're wearing makeup. We say you should have a two prong approach.
1. Actually aim for naturally glowing skin. It's the reason we make exfoliating cleansers, put AHA into our toners, and enhance our serums and creams with rejuvenating, penetrating, pore clearing, moisturizing, and brightening cosmeceutical ingredients.
Melanie from Minnesota wrote: "...For at least the last ten years I never stepped out the door without makeup. I have been using your products for a year and last weekend I went to the grocery store and was returning to my car before I realized that it didn't even occur to me to 'do my face' before leaving the house. My skin looks better now than when I was twenty."
Sounds like some natural glowing is going on in Minnesota.
2. Wear makeup that doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. Mineral makeup is naturally natural looking which improves as the day progresses. Applied properly with quality brushes, it becomes part of your skin through the action of natural facial oils. Setting mist accelerates this process, especially this time of year when skin tends toward dryness.
I was having a conversation with a businessman not long ago and mentioned that I made makeup. He looked surprised and said, "But you don't even wear makeup." I thanked him for making my day. Further encourage a natural glow with finishing powder that adds a light sheen, and a soft wash of blush on the apples of your cheeks. Now go out there and glow away. Naturally.
